Felicity Banks on Interactive Fiction

March 2, 2018 @ 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm

The age when unknown writers could be paid 5-figure advances for unwritten stories is not over. . . it’s gone digital. Jump into the world of interactive fiction phone apps before other writers figure out where the money is. Felicity Banks will teach you about interactive writing conventions, the most user-friendly app-making tools, and how to get found by people who actually pay writers.

Note: This guest presentation is an interactive workshop hosted in a computer lab. You are encouraged to bring a laptop to follow along. (Or we can sign you in to one of the PCs.)

Author Bio: Felicity Banks writes novels and interactive fiction story apps, and most of them are magical. She was born and raised in Canberra, and has two kids and half a dozen chronic health conditions. When she’s not writing or thinking about writing, she’s probably asleep.
